Accommodations

  • Guests may choose from 4 hotel options of varying price ranges.
  • Assistance with the reservations.

Day 1 Rehearsal

The wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner will take place on the first day and last approximately 3 hours (including transportation).

 

Only those in the wedding party will attend the rehearsal. All guests should meet at the main hotel selected by 4:45pm at which time we will board a chartered van that will take us to Villa Peyron (or similar location) for the rehearsal.

 

Villa Peyron: This amazing location features formal gardens, spacious grounds, olive groves and the surrounding Fontelucente woods in the rolling hills of Eiesole. The villa offers spectacular views of Florence to the south .

Following the wedding rehearsal, spouses and significant others in the wedding party will gather later in the evening for the rehearsal dinner. The dinner will take place at Piazza de Vino (or similar restaurant) at 8:15PM. The menu is fixed and there will be 2 options to choose from.

 

Note: Costs of the Dinner are based on a total of 25-30 guests. Additional guests will incur additional charges

Day 2 - Grape Harvest "Vendemmia" & Renaissance Dinner (full day)

VENDEMMIA:

Everyone should meet at the main hotel chosen by 9:00AM where chartered vans will bring you to the vineyard such as the Tenuta di Capezzana (or similar Tenuta). The Vendemmia will include the opportunity for you to experience traditional Italian wine making by crushing grapes in a vat with your feet! The grape stomping will include wine tasting.

 

 

 

Ample time will be allowed to view the vineyard with a guided tour followed by a traditional Italian lunch in a rustic setting with hay bails, flowers and lucky horseshoes as gifts for the guests.

 

 

There will be 2 menus to choose from including our most popular consisting of:

  • Multiple wines
  • Appetizers: crostini
  • Entrée: Risotto with courgette flowers, courgette and Parmesan, pasta with lemon and pine seeds
  • Dessert: Torta della nonna “Grandma’s Cake”, ice cream, Vin santo “holy wine”
  • Espresso or cappuccino

 

Guests will depart the Vendemmia at 2:00PM and return to the main hotel

RENAISSANCE DINNER:

The package includes the rental of 17th century Renaissance costumes for the wedding guests.

Sizing and selection will be pre-determined prior to the event during the planning stages

Everyone’s costumes will be in their hotel room the day of the dinner

All guests will need to put on their costumes in their hotel rooms prior to the departure for the dinner

 

 

Everyone should meet at the main hotel lobby dressed in costume by 5:30PM at which time we will board the chartered vans for Casa Grande (or similar location).

 

The evening includes a royal ceremony for the bride and groom followed by a delicious Renaissance-style dinner fit for a king and queen.

 

Details include a 17th century table setting complete with centerpieces, fruits, candles, plates, silverware and glasses all inspired by the Renaissance era.

 

 

Following the dinner, guests will be treated to a theatrical fire ceremony as the grand finale of the evening.

 

 

Note: Costs of the Renaissance evening are based on a total of 40-50 guests. Additional guests will incur additional charges. Day 3 - The Fairy Tale Wedding

 

Everyone should meet at the main hotel’s lobby by 3PM where they will board charted vans for the Villa de Peyron (or similar pre-chosen location). There will be two vans available at all times for anyone who needs to return to Florence early.

 

The evening includes a  ceremony for the bride and groom  Details include flowers and flowered archway for the ceremony area and flowers for the bridesmaids, groomsmen, bride and groom.

 

Table setting complete with centerpieces, candles and party favors. Several menu options will be available to choose from. Wedding cake included.

 

 

 

 

  • The flag ceremony should begin at 4:30PM followed by the wedding ceremony at 5PM.
  • The wedding ceremony should conclude around 5:30PM after which time guests will gather in the garden area for the reception and Flamenco performance (optional).
  • The reception should last until approximately 6:45PM at which time the guests will make their way from the garden to be seated for dinner.
  • The dinner will begin at 7:00PM. Guests will be allowed to make speeches throughout the dinner.
  • The wedding cake will be cut at 9:30PM thereafter guests will enjoy cake and coffee.
  • Balloons will be released at 10:15PM.
  • At 10:45PM, guests will be ushered from the dining area to a viewpoint where they will be treated to a theatrical fireworks display that will be begin at 11:00PM and last approximately 15 minutes.
  • After the fireworks, guests will have the option to return to Florence or mingle at the Villa’s bar for the after wedding dance party.
  • The party will end at 1:00AM after which time all remaining guests will be returned to the main hotel in Florence.

Day 4 - Afternoon Brunch

Those guests who remain in Florence are invited to gather at the main hotel lobby by 1:00PM where we will depart for a local restaurant and enjoy a casual afternoon brunch.
